SAY IT AIN'T ZO: Austin City Councilman Zo Qadri’s Frightful October Nightmare Continues With New Anti-Semitic (or Idiotic) Language Unearthed in Public Records Request
TWO OF ZO QADRI'S STAFF MEMBERS JOIN THE FRAY: Sara Barge (chief of staff) and Caleb Pritchard (communications and policy adviser)
The most tenacious, relentless and respected investigative citizen journalist in the history of Austin, Texas is:
johnnyk2000 (twitter: @johnnyk20001 )
Johnnyk2000 has a legendary reputation for unearthing scandalous information about the elected officials in Austin City Hall.
Johnnyk files dozens of public records information requests with the City of Austin every year.
With the uproar surrounding Zo Qadri's anti-Semitic tweets earlier this month, both Johnnyk2000 and former Austin City Council candidate Clinton Rarey (twitter: @clintonrarey) filed public information requests to view copies of Mr. Qadri's emails.
These two brilliant, aggressive citizen journalists wanted to gain a better understanding of how Zo Qadri and his staff were dealing with the political fallout.
On Friday morning, October 20, Johnnyk2000 posted this tweet:
"Austin city council member Zo Qadri emails a constituent an apology for his recent online comments. However he claims that his tweets were taken out of context. He also says Muslims are being scapegoated"

After Johnny K posted the full text of Zo's email on twitter...
Another intrepid Austin citizen named Jason Evanish (twitter: @evanish) carefully examined the email Zo Qadri sent to one of his concerned, upset constituents.
And Jason spotted yet another anti-Semitic statement from Zo Qadri:
Did you catch this Freudian slip in his email?
Zo: "To be clear, I condone anti-Semitism in all forms"

Austin City Councilman Zo Qadri spent TEN YEARS of his life in college, collecting three degrees in the Arts:
Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from University of Texas (2013-2017)
Master of Arts in Public Policy from Texas State (2015-2017)
Master of Arts in Global Affairs from Rice (2017-2019)
If you attended college for ten straight years and spent roughly $400,000 on tuition, books, food and shelter.
One skill you SURELY must have mastered (that's why they call them 'master's' degrees, Zo) is WRITING.
A quick scroll through Zo Qadri's twitter timeline (twitter: @ZoForAustin) reveals that despite paying $400,000 for a full decade of college courses, he has:
a weak vocabulary
penchant for typos
pitiful spelling mistakes
grotesque grammatical errors
Last night, Teddy Brosevelt contacted Austin City Councilman Zo Qadri on 'X' to ask:
"Do you know the definition of the word "condone"?
We still have not heard back from Mr. Qadri (or his staff) as this story hit the internet:
Do we think Zo Qadri attempted to commit political suicide on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 5:06 pm by doubling down and sending an email to a dismayed citizen letting them know:
"To be clear, I approve and sanction anti-Semitism in all forms"
No.
Even Zo isn't that stupid.
But he's close.
Ten years of college and three degrees that surely required thousands of pages of essays, analysis papers and two lengthy master's dissertations.
And Zo Qadri doesn't own a dictionary, has no dictionary apps on his phone, and is totally unaware that dictionary.com exists.
Or maybe Zo is familiar with all three.
That would be even worse, since it shows sheer laziness and gross incompetence.
Think about it:
Zo is sending emails from his official City of Austin account, contacting constituents about radioactive topics with his political reputation at stake, using words he doesn't know.
Instead of having (at least) two of his staff members triple-check and proofread everything before it leaces the office, Zo and his team just decided to say:
"Screw it."
"We can't be bothered to look up any unfamiliar words that might pour ten gallons of rocket fuel on this flaming dumpster fire and lead to our forced resignations."
If Zo doesn't know the definition of "condone", or any other common words in the English language, that's fine.
Either look it up in the dictionary, or swap it out for a word you understand.
But the LAST thing you should do when addressing a sensitive, radioactive topic (like your own anti-Semitic rhetoric) - while trying to salvage the last remaining shred of your political career - is to use an unfamiliar word in an email.
Especially when that unfamiliar word could change the meaning of the sentence to the exact opposite of what you had intended.
For example:
To be clear, I am against anti-Semitism in all forms
To be clear, I approve of anti-Semitism in all forms
Instead, Zo and his staff refused to proofread.
Or verify the meaning of tricky words like "condone".
They just hit "send".
TWO OF ZO QADRI'S STAFF MEMBERS JOIN THE FRAY:
Zo Qadri copied two people on this email:
Sara Barge his chief of staff
Caleb Pritchard his communications and policy adviser.
Sara Barge and Caleb Pritchard previously worked for Austin City Council Members Vanessa Fuentes and Natasha Harper-Madison, respectively.
Caleb Pritchard previously worked as a reporter for the Austin Monitor, so we can assume he:
Knows how to write
Understands the importance of editors and a "second set of eyes"
Knows the definition of the word: 'condone'
QUESTION:
If you were a key member of Zo Qadri's City Council staff, wouldn't you insist on reviewing and proof-reading EVERY piece of digital or written communication that mentions the word "Israel" for the remainder of his term in office - just out of sheer self-preservation?
First thing Caleb Pritchard should have done after this bosses' anti-Semitic tweets caused outrage on Twitter:
Scrub your twitter feed of any tweets that sound remotely anti-Semitic
Maybe Caleb is just as dumb, lazy and anti-Semitic as his boss Mr. Qadri.
Check out Caleb's twitter bio.
He gleefully describes his role as Zo Qadri's communications and policy advisor as:
"Director of Agitation and Propaganda, District 9"
For the record:
We think Caleb Pritchard, Zo Qadri and every American citizen has every right to criticize the foreign policy and military maneuvers of any nation on Earth.
And we are not saying the tweets you are about to read from Caleb's account dating back to 2011 are definitely anti-Semitic.
What we are saying is this:
If you are Zo Qadri's communications director and there's a flaming dumpster fire surrounding your boss' rhetoric about Israel.
There are only two explanations why any inflammatory tweets that you have personally written about Israel since 2011 are still on your public feed.
Your defiant, radical, far-left Marxist tendencies
Stupidity, laziness and incompetence
Batch #1- Caleb Pritchard on Israel:
Batch #2 - Caleb Pritchard on Israel:
While Caleb Pritchard's anti-Israel tweets aren't nearly as inflammatory as Zo's, the failure of Zo's own communication director to delete his own anti-Israel tweets indicates that Pritchard:
(a) Hates Israel and made a defiant personal decision to double down by keeping his tweets up
(b) Most incompetent communications director in Texas history
(c) All of the above
